Moussaka is a great family meal.  It is relatively easy to make, healthy, thrifty and the kids will love it.  This recipe is one my mum used to make when we were kids back in the seventies, in our lime green kitchen!  This is the “Australianised” version which uses potatoes rather than egg plant, but you can feel free to use egg plant if that grabs you!
