This recipe came about as a way to use up some left over apple sauce which was in the fridge. The apple sauce was actually from our last year’s crop of apples, which I had stewed and frozen in small quantities. Here’s a lovely old fashioned desert which is very easy to do. You can use any fresh fruit like apples, peaches or even mixed berries. But if you are short on time, a can of fruit will do the trick too!
