The time leading up to Christmas can be filled (sometimes overfilled) with lots of wonderful blessings. Christmas concerts, Christmas baking, Christmas shopping, Christmas “get togethers” seem to abound, and can be a wonderful blessing this time of year. However, sometimes all the “blessings” can squeeze out the “Blesser”, Almighty God who sent his Son to Earth to bring us back into relationship with Him, if we choose to accept His offer.

This Christmas I encourage you to enjoy all the wonderful blessings that abound, but don’t pass over the One who has provided those blessings. If you have a relationship with God already don’t crowd Him out in the hustle and bustle of the season. If you don’t have a relationship with the God who created you for a relationship with Him, don’t miss out on that life giving relationship for another day. Seek Him out, ask Him to reveal Himself to you, not just as the baby in the manger, but as the King of Kings. You can find some helpful resources to explore a relationship with God here here and here.

May God bless you this Christmas and beyond!
