Here’s a very simple recipe for an old fashioned “cure” for sore throats.  Of course, this information is not meant as medical advice, but simply a nice soothing “add on” to any medical advice you may seek.  Lemon and honey have been used for a very long time as a help for sore throats, and if nothing else this makes for a tasty warm drink.  I generally have some lemon juice in the freezer stored in some ice cube trays, (this is a great way to store your lemon harvest from back yard trees).  So I just pop one “cube” of lemon juice into a mug, add a spoonful of honey and then pour in some boiling water.  Give this a stir and maybe add a little cool water to make it a drinkable temperature, that’s it!  You can find some other great uses for citrus here.
